This cookie is not coming from statscounter.com. Statscounter is similar to Google Analytics, it is used for tracking visitors. However as it goes off to a third-party web-site to get the cookie. The same tracking information can be returned from lots of different web-sites. This allows statscounter to build a picture of what your browsing habits are and what web-sites you visit (providing those web-sites also involve statscounter.com).
